In standard method, cells are grown on TSBA for 24 hr at 30C and harvested in log phase. A scaled down version of the Sasser 1990 method is used to prepare FAMEs for analysis on the MIDI Inc Sherlock Microbial Identification System. $40 for FAME setup (1 fee per batch), $30 for each sample on the same run.
